We’ll also discover ancient churches, quaint shops, and traditional trattorias that offer a genuine taste of Apulian life. Free time for lunch, transfer to the hotel. Breakfast at the hotel, meeting with our knowledgeable English-speaking guide and transfer to Alberobello for a walking tour of the city center. This town is renowned for its iconic trulli, traditional dry stone huts with distinctive conical roofs. We’ll wander through the UNESCO World Heritage site's picturesque streets, exploring the charming whitewashed houses. Inside Trullo Sovrano, the largest trullo, and Basilica dei Santi Cosma e Damiano, we'll delve into the unique history and architecture of these ancient structures. Continuing our exploration, we'll stroll through Rione Monti, the historic district, before pausing for a leisurely lunch break. Transfer to Polignano a Mare, a gem nestled along the breathtaking coastline of Puglia. Our adventure begins with a guided tour through the historic city center, where narrow cobblestone streets wind their way past charming cafes and centuries-old buildings. We’ll be immersed in the rich history and vibrant culture of Polignano a Mare as we explore its hidden alleys and picturesque squares. Next, we’ll prepare for an exhilarating boat tour to uncover the secrets hidden within the Polignano caves. We’ll glide along the sparkling waters as the sun illuminates the rugged cliffs, revealing ancient grottoes and hidden coves. After our boat tour, we’ll indulge in some free time for relax on the famous “beach of desire” Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Breakfast at the hotel, meeting with the guide and transfer to Matera for a walking tour of the city center. Matera is renowned for its Sassi, ancient cave dwellings carved into the limestone, which have been inhabited since the Paleolithic period and are today designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site. With our guide, we will take a walk through the historic center of Matera, starting from the main Piazza Vittorio Veneto towards the most characteristic places of the city. We will tell the story of the city’s origins and its recent fame, also contributed to by the many films shot in the city. We will enter the Cathedral dedicated to the SS. Madonna della Bruna and Sant’Eustachio, the Casa Grotta in the Sassi where you can discover the ancient stone-working techniques, and the Palombaro Lungo, a huge medieval cistern that collects spring water later used in the city. Free time for individual visits and next transfer to Giovinazzo where you’ll have the possibility to spend some relaxing time on the beach. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
